**Your role**
- Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to look at the bigger picture? Do you want to be involved in every stage of transactions that contribute to shape UBS’s future? Are you excited by the prospect of having immediate exposure to UBS’s Senior Management at the Business Divisions and Group level?
- We’re looking for someone like you to:
- Strongly contribute to and selectively lead strategic M&A projects
- Run financial modelling and conduct rigorous analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assess opportunities and make recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Prepare presentations and present to internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams across functions and business divisions, as well as with external advisers (e.g., financial, legal)
- Conduct market screening and analysis to identify or assess potential targets.

**Your team**
- Group M&A is responsible for UBS’s group-wide M&A activities and acts as an adviser to UBS’s Senior Management for the identification and evaluation of inorganic opportunities. The team works closely with all business divisions and functions and is in charge of managing transactions end-to-end. Recent transactions include the acquisition of US robo-adviser Wealthfront, or the disposal of Wealth Management operations in Spain and Austria.

**Your expertise**
- University degree preferably in business administration, banking & finance or economics
- Ideally internship / work experience in investment banking (ideally in Financial Institutions) or comparable work experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to quickly identify issues and key focus areas
- Corporate Finance skills (e.g., valuation, financial modelling)
- Team spirit and flexible personality
- Excellent work ethics and ability to work independently
- Very good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus)
