The Regional Digital Lead & Solutions Consultant drives the long-term profitable growth of Digital Products, Solutions and Platforms within the Central & Southern Europe Region for the Process Industries Division of ABB. Process Industries Division holds the global market responsibilities for following verticals: Aluminum, Batteries, Cement, Metals, Discrete Manufacturing, Food & Beverages, Mining and Paper. You will work with the Global Marketing and Sales teams for Digital to define Sales strategy, and Marketing and Business Development plans. You will work with the Industry Digital Solution Consultants, Hub Industry Leads, local country sales teams and with the backend support teams to execute on these strategies and plans through all phases of opportunities. Reporting to the Hub Manager, with functional reporting line to Global Division Digital Lead. You closely cooperate with the global digital product categories responsibility; you will be accountable for the total digital sales targets of our Hub’s related Digital product offering. You lead a team of Regional Solution Consultants who drive a country specific focus, working with the diverse accounts and driving our Digital Value Pillar approach. The Digital Value Pillars are Operational Excellence, Process Performance, Asset Performance, Safety & Sustainability, and Cyber Security.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Managing a team dedicated to consult & sell digital solutions such as, but not limited to:
- Asset Performance Management (APM), Manufacturing & Operations Management (MES, IOM), Process Performance Management, Energy Mgmt based portfolio, tailored to the Minerals, Metals, Paper, Food & Beverages and Batteries Industries
- Ensures related Industry digital portfolio leading to profitable growth and support business-led collaboration in alignment with the related GPG & Industrial vertical strategies together with local sales and execution.
- Overseeing the Marketing & Sales and Business development functions of the Digital portfolio for your region.
- Implementing the regional annual digital budget and reviewing & achieving digital sales targets for your region that include order volume, order gross margin and managing, sales costs within budget.

- Meeting with and influences customer's senior technical and business leadership on value solutions
- Analyzing customer requirements to ensure digital solution(s) meets objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge to create business value.
- Continuously driving business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions with Regional Sales and Global Digital teams
- Providing Digital solution leadership for the Value Portfolio’s consistently at high quality to a sales, proposals, and project teams and global solution consultants
- Demonstrating expertise in multiple digital solution areas across value portfolios with the ability to architect and design technology solutions that target value benefits
**Your background**:
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the OT/Software industry with focus on industrial digitalization and the Internet of Things, with deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or another relevant field, MBA is a plus
- Experience in directly managing a high performing team across a region.
Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, consultative selling, driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes
- Deep Experience in the industrial software environment and demonstrated expertise surmounting challenges around Data Integration, Legacy Systems, lack of standards and Cybersecurity concerns
- Background in cloud and edge technologies, digital twins, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning as applied to Process Performance solutions
- Fluency in one of the region's main languages: French, Italian, Spanish or German, together with English, both written and spoken, any additional language is an asset.
- Availability to travel internationally as required
