**Science and Technology Product Designer**:
Your scope will be to understand users and formalize their needs with a user centric approach and method. You will design sustainable solutions from concept to launch. Furthermore you will maintain the product knowledge through relevant documentation. You will be based in Kemptthal reporting directly to the Science and Technology Platform Manager.

**You will**:
**User research and understanding**
- Create user flow diagrams, process maps, and wireframes
- Run necessary interviews, workshops and tests with the users to create or validate the design
- Create a high visibility of business processes, and dependencies
- Anticipate and suggest organisational/process evolutions to increase business efficiency, propose relevant system upgrades and adaptations

**Product design and project execution**
- Conduct necessary analyses with Key Users that lead to the delivery of the high-level functional specifications
- Provide detailed specifications and prototype, and then ensure validation of definitions and goals
- Work with the UI designer to design the mockup graphic assets of the product
- Guide necessary workshops or calls with developers to translate user needs into features and screens
- Support Product Owner in the backlog definition and refinement (User Story specification and acceptance criteria definition)
- Contribute to the quality of delivered solution through testing
- Ensure relationships between users, informatics/external parties during development
- Organise, prepare, run/support and coordinate UAT, user training and manage roll-out

**You have**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or business school
- At least 5 years experience as a software designer or a businsess analyst
- Experience in conceptual data modeling or information architecture for software/web development
- Business Fluent in English; additional language is an advantage
- Expert in analytics (Interview, shadowing, Personas)
- Facilitation Skills (workshops, UAT)
- Change management Skills (training, documentation)
- Conception Skills (prototyping, wireframing, data modeling, user stories)
- Knowledgeable about cloud technology, Web/Java, Jira software
