Head of Technical Project Management, Zurich Switzerland

CSL Vifor is looking for a Head of Technical Project Management to build, lead and develop a state-of the-art team of Technical Project Managers.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology Drug Product you will be responsible for managing a team of T echnical Project Managers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the co-ordination of the technical life cycle management program for CSL Vifor and provide state-of-the-art project as well as program management skills for technical operations and lifecycle management projects
- Management and development of a team of technical project managers to enable individual growth, excelling in their role and feed CSL’s talent pipeline
- Initiation, design, oversight, driving and closure of projects within agreed timelines
- Drive decision making in line with company strategy and line-management and/or prepare/ensure such decision making through adequate reporting team and concise & convincing stakeholder information
- Ensure onboarding of development activities for the introduction of new/adapted processes/products according to the strategy, objectives and corporate planning
- Representation of the technical timelines and budgets in cross-functional committees, senior management decision bodies
- Continuous improvement of project management tools and processes
- Oversight of budget for TechOps projects for the brands in alignment with the G lobal Brand Teams ( end-2-end products) and R&D (development projects) including CAPEX management for both commercial as well as development projects.
- Responsibility and oversight of the Technical P roject M anagement budget
- Build on internal & external networks and resources in the context of project management and CMC leadership
- Maintenance of relationships with key internal colleagues, senior management as well as key individuals of selected partners (CDMOs, License givers)

**Skill & Experience**

Minimum Requirements
- Scientific qualification, such as pharmacist, biotechnologist or chemical engineer, bachelor's degree, Master level or equivalent
- Project and Program Management methodology eg. PMI, LEAN Six Sigma or equivalent/by experience
- Languages: English fluently

Preferred Requirements
- Experience in leading a team (functional and line-management)
- Experience in the management of interdisciplinary projects in an international environment
- Experience in establishment and maintaining of program, project/portfolio management structure
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement
- Charismatic leader, able to convince people and unify teams behind a common goal
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Advanced strategy understanding and mindset
- Experience in Pharma CMC and GMP requirements
- Experience with international companies and contractors
- Strong Analytical skills

This is a Hybrid role based in Zurich, Switzerland
