Due to a maternity leave the Swiss Market organization at its Headquarters in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, SWATCH Ltd. is currently recruiting a

**PR & COMMUNICATION LEADER SWITZERLAND 100% - CDD 6M**

In this position, your main role will be to build strong relationships with the Swiss Media as well as digital influencers and generate Communication content for the Swiss Market. You will be in charge of creating the PR & Communication plan for Switzerland.

Regular tasks will include:

- Handle media requests
- Press Release send-outs in French and German
- Organize Interviews with Spokesperson at Swatch HQ
- Regular contact with journalists nationwide and establish new contacts
- Invite and accompany Swiss journalists during international PR events
- Implementation of Global PR strategy with adaptation to the Swiss Market
- Define, conceptualize and implement Local Press Events (set-up, activation, transports, accommodation, venues, interview schedule)
- Responsible for local PR budget from start to finish (control budget, open project sheets, vendor forms, order requests, handle invoices, contracts and NDA’s)
- Media Monitoring, analyzing data weekly & monthly (collect and file clippings, statistics and reviews)
- Active collaboration with different departments within Swatch Switzerland
- Close and regular exchange with PR, Event and Sports department of Swatch HQ

**Profile**:
In addition, you will be responsible for creating, copywriting and proofreading content for various purposes such as Social Media, product launches, newsletters, invitations, Swatch Club activities, promotions, events etc. During events, you represent our Brand in terms of PR and relations with the Swiss press and will take care of the journalists.

We are looking for an autonomous, organized and flexible Communication Specialist with excellent editing and copywriting skills in German and French. Computer-savvy with excellent knowledge of the MS Office package.

**Professional requirements**:
You bring experience in PR & Communication in an Agency or a Fashion/Retail Brand. You know the Swiss Media environment; have an existing and established Press network and a strong interest in Pop culture and Sports.

You are a strong team player with an outgoing and pro-active personality and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping to tight deadlines and coordinating with various business partners, internally and externally.

**Languages**:
Your mother tongue is German or French and you are fluent in the other language, in addition, you possess good knowledge of English, Italian would be a plus.
