Global Communications Intern

**Workload: 100%**

As a Global Communications Intern of Jet Aviation, you will report to and work with the Global Communications teams to assist on the planning and implementation of internal and external communications projects and initiatives globally. These will be in line with the global communications strategy, which supports the organizations vision, business imperatives and priorities.

Description/Tasks:

- Support in the creation and execution of multi-channel internal communications that drive employee engagement and shape internal culture
- Support Communications teams members to inform and update employees in a creative and timely manner, including writing and creating memorandums, stories, newsletter, posters, presentations, etc.
- Help develop and implement lines of communication within the organization among employees
- Support logistics and planning of global and regional campaigns of leadership interactions and communications e.g. coffee with, lunch & learn
- Collaborate on corporate campaigns including diversity, sustainability & safety programs, initiatives and communications as needed
- Ensure ongoing measurement of communications, engagement and success
- Support global and regional PR activities, including development of a comprehensive and updated media database, media liaison, writing media releases and external image management
- Work with Senior Manager Global Communications to create and evolve the content calendar and strategy for internal employee intranet and website blog, and contribute by writing stories and creating engaging editorial media
- Demonstrate agility and flexibility to work on ad hoc projects across other areas of global MarComm
- Support Digital MarComm with well written and engaging content to suit a range of digital channels, including the company website and social media channels
- Partner with MarComm team to support creation of a cohesive and comprehensive image library that reflect the needs of the business and tells a compelling visual story
- Bring the Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

Qualification/Experience:

- University degree in the filed of communications or related area
- Strong writing skills in various formats (in English)
- Ability to work against short deadlines, manage multiple projects and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Solution oriented, independent thinker with a growth mindset and strong analytical skills
- Ability to think outside the box to support and and implement constantly evolving, effective communication campaigns
- Willingness to travel
- Native English language; any other language is a plus
