**Team Overview**

You will be part of the Global Climate Strategy team which defines and promotes Moody’s climate narrative, drives scaling of climate capabilities to serve cross-segment priorities, and facilitates the development of consistent approaches across the organization. The team covers both physical and transition risk capabilities.

**Overview of role/responsibilities for the intern**

You will be supporting the team in their day to day activities, gaining exposure to other business domains within the company in identifying opportunities that aid our growth ambitions, and collaborating with colleagues across the wider organization to support the development of market and offering strategy. The main focus area would be transition and scenario analytics.
- Assist in the production of ad-hoc analyses, reports, presentations, and provide support on special projects as needed
- Conduct guided and unguided research in relevant areas
- Develop and maintain internal and external documentation, collateral, and training materials
- Support the maintaining of key decisions and issue logs related to technical, model and methodology elements of transition risk program as well as climate scenario approaches across Moody’s Analytics

**Qualifications**
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree or MSc (preferred) in a relevant area, e.g. finance, economics, environmental science or engineering.
- Previous working experience (can be internship and/or part-time) of min 6 months
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability in general and specific knowledge in climate change
- Familiarity with GHG accounting, climate transition scenarios and analysis, or climate-related regulations in the financial space is an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking attitude and attention to detail
- Self-driven, problem-solver, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and working in a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written command of English
- Willingness to work with a highly collaborative, flexible and innovative team across different locations
