Are you a passionate and innovative engineer who wants to make buildings come alive?

We are a young tech startup working on a movable solar facade called Solskin. It combines a PV system and a shading system into one to provide optimal solar energy management and improve occupant comfort. It feeds advanced AI algorithms with weather and user data to optimize energy savings and comfort. Solskin is a revolutionary product that helps buildings stay cool and generate more solar power than traditional PV systems.

As a member of the ZSR team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of Solskin. You will be given a high level of independence and responsibility and will be able to see the tangible results of your work as Solskin is installed on buildings in Switzerland and around the world. You will be supporting us in the development of our long-lasting system.

Tasks

As a Structural Engineer at ZSR, your role involves designing and analyzing the Solskin system's structural components, ensuring attachment points meet safety and performance standards, conducting structural testing, and providing support for customer projects.

**Involved tasks**:

- Collaborating with our team to design and analyze structural elements of the Solskin system
- Conducting assessments of mounting systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
- Participating in the setup of experiments to test the performance and reliability of our technology
- Provide structural engineering expertise and solutions for customer projects

You will work very closely with Gabriel (R&D), Samuel (Production), and Vesna (Architecture).

**Requirements**:

- Degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- Experience in structural design and analysis
- Experience with experimental testing setups and data analysis
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and tools
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Switzerland
- Solid communication skills, including documentation skills
