- **Director of Sales**

Company overview:

- The Villars Alpine Resort is a unique & innovative hotel concept which includes 3 different properties (Villars Palace, Victoria Hotel & Residence, Villars Lodge), a Hotel School (VET by EHL) and a cultural center.
- The resort complex is based on a 90’000m2 plot: the Villars Palace has 125 rooms & suites and has just reopened in June after an intensive renovation (5* superior hotel). The Victoria Hotel & Residence has 150 rooms (4* hotel) and is also fully renovated the same as the Villars Lodge with 57 rooms (Swiss Lodge category).
- Overall this unique resort includes 332 rooms & suites, 7 restaurants & bars, 12 meeting rooms, a sports center, a wellness center, a hotel school and a cultural center.
- The vision is to distil a new art of living while leading the hospitality of tomorrow. The mission is to create a place that brings people together in a universe where everyone can share their passions and knowledge through culture, sustainability, education while experiencing the hospitality of tomorrow.- Position overview:

- As Director of Sales, you will lead the sales team of the three properties, but the focus will be on the Villars Palace (5* superior hotel) and the Victoria Hotel & Residence (4* hotel). You will report directly to the Group Managing Director and be part of the Executive Committee.- This is an excellent role to bring in your own ideas, entrepreneurial mindset and passion.
- The challenges and responsibilities of the role are as following:
- Develop & implement a sales strategy to effectively manage all the different sales channels.
- Be a true leader who is able to bring the team together around a common vision
- Prepare the annual sales & marketing plan in cooperation with the Managing Director
- Coordinate with operations
- Share your knowledge with employees and students
- Support the sales & marketing efforts of the hotel school within Villars Alpine Resort
- Ideal profile and background:
- A minimum of 3-5 years in a proactive sales role in hotels
- Experienced Director of Sales or similar (e.g. Senior Sales Manager) in 5* properties
- Some experience in luxury hotels is essential
- Fluency in French & English is a must; German would be an additional plus
- You must be eligible to work in Switzerland or Europe
- Passionate to work in an entrepreneurial, almost start-up like environment
- Strong leadership skills that motivate the sales team to perform beyond expectations
