Scrum Master

VSHN is Switzerland's leading partner for DevOps, Container & Kubernetes. VSHN (pronounced like “vision”) helps software development teams make their software testable, deployable, scalable, operable in any cloud and as efficient and automated as possible.

We are organized in self-managed teams and develop our organization through collaborative solution finding and group decision-making based on Sociocracy 3.0 principles. With us, reasoned arguments decide, not individual people in a certain position.

Tasks

As a Scrum Master at VSHN you act as a coach and lead for one or two teams. We understand Team Lead as a servant leader function, sharing the team's responsibilities with the team. Your support and leadership in developing the agile processes in the team is what lets the team focus on creating value through our great products for our customers. While you primarily work within your team, you're also representing your team in addressing organizational opportunities and impediments that go beyond your team, together with the lead or representatives of other teams and the delegator (usually Management, due to our flat hierarchy), there are no formal boundaries, we all work together to solve our problems.

**This includes**:

- Working closely with Product Owners and supporting them to turn their ideas into finished products
- Inspecting and adapting our processes of the team to make sure they stay relevant and easy to follow
- Facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings
- Lead the team to remove any obstacles that may arise during the sprint
- Promoting a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation

**Requirements**:
**You have**:

- Proven experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a dynamic environment, preferably in IT Engineering or Software Development Teams.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English in business, interpersonal, and preferably also in IT-specific high-level topics.
- The ability to identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's progress.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
