Scrum Master

We are looking for a **Scrum Master (professional or advanced junior level)** to support our two product/software development teams in their daily work with the Scrum framework and increase its agile maturity. You will be joining an established Scrum setup with two teams of nearshore developers in Poland and Zurich-based Tech
- and Product Management.

We are looking for a person who already has practical Scrum Master experience, preferably in a nearshore setup. To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of the software development process and be able to encourage and guide the team to improve themselves by identifying and implementing measurements for improvement, remove barriers between all roles and facilitate close collaboration. Since we are a rater small team in a Startup environment, we are not searching for a pure coaching role but rather a hands-on person.

**Overview**
- Where_: in our Zürich office, with the possibility to work up to 2 days per week remotely
- How much_: the expected salary range is 85,000 - 110,000 CHF (exceptions are made to allow for the best overall fit)

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Refinement, Planning, Review and the Retrospective.
- Manage the team's capacity. Measure, visualize and improve team performance through a small set of meaningful KPIs.
- Foster teams' self-organisation, collaboration and promote an healthy feedback culture.
- Ensure the team can maintain progress across the agreed backlog and keep a sustainable pace of development. Support the team with release management coordination.
- Collaborate closely with the PO by highlighting dependencies and supporting with priorities from different stakeholders.
- Remove obstacles and solve conflicts as they may occur.
- Support with the on
- and offboarding of team members.

**Requirements**:

- Must haves:_
- Previous work experience in a digital product team in a scrum framework
- Curious and interested in continuous learning.
- Innovative and can think outside the box while dealing with challenges.
- An inspiring ambassador for new ways of working.
- Self-driven and can work independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Technical background or good understanding of software development challenges.
- Proficient in English (German and/or Polish a plus).
- Nice to haves:_
- Experience with Jira & Confluence.
- Scrum Certification or equivalent working experience.
