** About the Job**
- Based at _Mandarin Oriental, Geneva_, within the Culinary Department, the **Commis Chef** assists in the preparation, production, and presentation of dishes for Room Service and the MO Bar. The Commis Chef reports directly to the **Chef de Cuisine**.- As **Commis Chef**, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
- Ensuring all mise en place is ready for service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas.
- Supporting senior chefs in day-to-day operations and learning new culinary techniques.
- Complying with all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.-
- As **Commis Chef** we expect from you:

- A passion for culinary arts and attention to detail.
- Previous kitchen experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment preferred.
- Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow.
- Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
- A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.-
