**Your mission**:

- Lead a team of buyers and be responsible for the development of the people in the respective team
- Provide strategic advice to all stakeholders and influence decision making and strategic direction
- Drive value-add procurement planning, sourcing and contract management
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to report and evaluate the performance of procurement activities
- Develop and maintain cost-effective and quality-driven supplier relationships
- Develop and implement overarching policies and procedures for all procurement related activities of the respective commodity
- Develop and establish the commodity related procurement strategy
- Support the Group’s expansion by driving international sourcing
- Focus on digitalization and support the implementation of a new eProcurement tool
- Represent the interface to the department of Indirect Procurement based in Düsseldorf

**Your profile**:

- You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or similar field
- You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in procurement preferably in related industries
- You have excellent negotiation skills, be analytically talented and have a problem-solving mindset
- You have a broad procurement experience with exposure to innovative and new procurement approaches
- You have experience in implementing and managing eProcurement solutions (preferably SAP Ariba )
- You bring a broad global supplier network and you have demonstrated the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive relationships with suppliers
- You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and constantly challenge the status quo by proactively seeking opportunities to drive value, achieve cost savings and improve efficiencies
- You have a strong sense of customer service
- You bring experience and a genuine interest in people management and development
- You have strong leadership and communication skills
- You are fluent in English (preferably German or other languages as well)
