Associate Director, Continuous Improvement

General Description:
Essential Functions of the job:
- Identify areas for improvement, implement strategies, and continuous improvement tools to enhance processes, reduce waste and achieve organizational goals
- Foster a risk-based approach culture, based on accountability, proactive mindset to anticipate potential gaps upfront
- Conduct thorough assessments of current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Advise and facilitate the design of a tailor-made eDMS & QMS
- Analyze data and metrics to support decision-making and improve performance
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies that align with organizational goals
- Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects from inception to completion
- Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget
- Foster a culture of end-to-end collaboration and continuous learning within teams with providing mentorship
- Foster a Culture of Quality with designing and creating a Global GxP training program
- Communicate effectively to ensure buy-in and support for improvement initiatives
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization
- Prepare regular reports on continuous improvement activities, progress, and results for senior management
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Individual contributor, operating and reporting in a matrixed team, using strong technical and leadership experience to influence Quality leaders and staff without direct authority
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- Min of 8+ years experience in GxP pharma or biotech
- Proven experience in continuous improvement roles with successful track record of completed cross-functional projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience with global multi-national companies is highly desired, demonstrating ability to collaborate across functions, time zones and cultures, and in a matrixed environment
- Knowledge of communication trends
- Proficient with different communication channels and strategies
- Track record of leading successful change management initiatives
- Fluent in English, oral and written
Computer Skills:
- Strong PC literacy
- Mastery level Microsoft Outlook skills
- Proficient with SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Travel:
- Up to 10% worldwide
