**The Role**:
As a member of Moderna’s Corporate Security Department and the CMC International Leadership Team, the Associate Director, Regional Security will be the key partner to drive and deliver Moderna’s security strategy across the region.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Oversee the management of a global contracted professional guard force which provides protection for Moderna’s physical assets, property, and personnel.

Ensure all sites maintain compliance with any state and/or federal regulations as they pertain to physical security and/or business resilience in support of any regulated or GMP requirements.

Oversee a comprehensive security technology program including but not limited to CCTV, access controls, visitor management and any other tool in support of Moderna’s technical security apparatus.

Conduct security and business resilience risk assessments of Moderna’s commercial, manufacturing or support facilities within region.

Support/perform trainings in support of Moderna’s Corporate Security program within region.

Strategic planning/justification for budgets, staffing, contract maintenance, resource allocation, asset replenishment (capital/expense) while partnering with peers & direct reports when coordinating facilities security management within region (project management).

Assist and support investigations at the request of Moderna’s Legal or HR function as appropriate and directed.

Expected travel

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
BS/BA in a related field required, plus 5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, audit, or a combination, preferred.

CPP or other professional designation, preferred.

Biotech, Pharmaceutical, GMP experienced preferred.

Track record in leading diverse groups and encouragement coalescence around a common goal.

Experience in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with internal as well as external organizations to achieve goals.

Ability to be a champion for change and continuous improvement across Moderna and the business.

Ability to be agile and effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.

A leader who is self-reflective and leads by example and drives the organization’s performance with an attitude of continuous improvement.

Ability to navigate through ambiguity and rapid growth and adapt to change.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

English language proficiency required in addition to German preferred.
