In behalf of our client, a successful established, growing commodity trading company, located in Baar/Zug with subsidiaries in Latam, UAE and Asia, we are looking for a well versed, eager Accountant & Controller to strengthen the Finance department at the HQ. This is a new, additional function and will resport to the Head of Accounting, working close together with Traders, Operations and Trade Finance in the daily business. **Your Position**: - Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts; - Prepare, record, analyse and report accounting and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance; - Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as in the profit and loss account; - Preparation of business data and analysis of business development with regard to financial and operative key figures of all company divisions; - Controlling and monitoring the development of costs and turnover for Trade P< - Implementation and management of projects in the area of finance and corporate accounting; **Your Profile**: - Swiss Commercial accounting education (ideally Fachausweis) - Business administration training or specialized further training in the field of finance and controlling - Several years of professional experience in management accounting / cost accounting / controlling, ideally in a trading company - Literate accounting standards SCO, IFRS experience would be a big plus - Experience with Abacus Accounting system is a must. - IT literate - Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) - Results driven - able to execute with high personal accountability. - Customer focused. - High business and financial acumen Within this very active, young company you will find plenty of opportunities to develop your talents and career
