**CONTEXT & MISSION**:
In order to strengthen our legal team, we are looking for a **Legal Counsel** who will provide legal advice and support to the L’Occitane Group business and entities. The Legal Counsel will be part of our Group Legal team, hence dealing with a variety of topics including manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, sponsorship, lease, corporate, litigation, IP matters, data protection.

This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel and is based in Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva, Headquarters).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Negotiate, review, and draft distribution agreements
- Negotiate, review, comment on and draft a wide range of legal and commercial documents including manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, partnership, etc.
- Follow -up on lease agreements in France
- Provide timely and result-oriented legal advice and support on a wide variety of matters across all lines of businesses to teams of L’Occitane Group
- Respond to ad hoc queries including identification, analysis and evaluation of risks in order to provide appropriate legal solutions
- Work in close cooperation with several L’Occitane Group entities and with the support functions of L’Occitane Group and liaise with/manage external counsels

**HOW YOU CAN FIT**:

- Master’s degree in law
- + 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a Corporate environment ideally within the B2C industry
- Very good knowledge of contract drafting, consumer and commercial law at an international level with a focus on Europe
- Very good knowledge of French law
- Fluent in English and French with solid writing skills in both languages
- Ability to anticipate, efficiently manage multiple queries and issues, meet deadlines
- Ability to take instructions and work independently
- Hands-on approach, flexible, very business-oriented, attention to details
- At ease in an international, fast-paced environment with remote teams and able to deal with ambiguity
- Team player, very good communication & interpersonal skills
