As Velocity’ s STUDIO MANAGER, you are accountable for all aspects of running Velocity in one studio location. You manage and lead the overall operations of the business - hiring a pipeline of top performing front desk manager talent, developing new revenue channels, reporting on financial and business performance, etc.

You are accountable for fostering the community culture both in-studio and out in the community with events.

Tasks

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead General Business Operations of Velocity
- Create and implement business strategies, operations, processes and initiatives that will improve function, performance and growth of the business
- Marketing & Sales for local studio area
- Accountable for the financial planning and performance of studio with a focus on driving revenue and minimizing costs
- Responsible for monitoring costs and creating efficiencies and cost reductions where possible
- Lead and drive the culture of the business including hiring, people development and retention
- Manage and develop a young team of Front Desk Managers, help to lead Instructors and outside contractors such as suppliers and website support
- Identify new opportunities for the business across the total product offering
- Ensure studio cleanliness
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the studio or with clients
- Drive Shareholder reporting monthly and quarterly
- Report to the CEO

**Requirements**:
**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fluent in English and German (ideally Swiss German)
- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree recommended
- Experience in retail, fitness and/or hospitality operations role recommended
- You are an extraordinary leader with demonstrated capabilities

and experience leading large teams and developing pipelines of

talent
- Entrepreneurial and business minded and have experience in strategic planning and business development
- Able to prioritize and manage projects and assemble teams to ensure successful execution within specified timelines
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Highly organized and efficient
- Able to work a non-traditional and flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, some holidays)
- Self-starter, detail oriented and highly organized, with an eye for cleanliness
- Problem solver and activator
- Passion for fitness, health and wellness
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills - must be able to set clear
