Market Risk & Product Control is focused on the trading and treasury activities of Julius Baer. Daily risk calculations and limit adherence checks for the units carrying market risk together with independent compilations of profit and loss figures allow for a transparent and safe business environment that ensures ‘checks and balances’. Reconciliations of positions, cash accounts and profit and loss statements ensure data integrity across systems; parameter checks and model validation ensure proper and consistent valuations.

Within the Market Risk & Product Control department, Risk Transformation group is focused on implementation CRO Strategic initiatives and is responsible for projects in the area of market risk and product control.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Support with Project Management for the initiatives aimed at strengthening of market risk and product control functions in relation to governance, processes and infrastructure
- Coordinate delivery of the multi-year project to implement solution with centralized data repository for all risk management and control activities
- Participate in externally driven projects, manage their impact and/or dependency for the team
- Effective collaboration with stakeholders within and outside market risk and product control, especially with other units involved in the projects including Central IT, Markets IT and Finance

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- 3-5 years of banking experience with focus on control functions within Trading and/or Treasury
- Experience with participating in high profile, multi-stakeholder projects
- Good understanding of end-to-end operations, infrastructure, and frameworks in managing market risk and performing product controls
- Knowledge of methods and current ways of working (JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and other common agile collaboration tools)
- Able to collaborate with highly qualified, technically minded staff
- Fluent in spoken and written English, German is beneficial
