**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:
To provide support to Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions including, but not limited to the following:

- Ensure compliance with contract obligations and provide advice and monitoring of same to construction team
- Ability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management.
- Procurement - operational procurement activity and contract support, in conjunction with the Procurement Department
- Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations and final account.
- Managing and forecasting of turnover and cash flow of the projects
- Reviewing and commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and re-liable reporting
- Identify, Analyse and report on trends within the Business & Projects
- Provide Data and analysis of issues & risks as required by Management.
- Improve and implement best practice commercial processes and accurate budgeting
- Ensure compliance with Contract Programme /Schedule and provide weekly re-ports to construction team on planned versus actual progress
- Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or sub-contractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies
- To ensure Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same
- Ensure reporting is in line with Group Policies & highlight exceptions to Management
- All other duties associated with this role

**Essential Criteria for the Role**:

- Academically (Degree) qualified and or relevant experience in the industry
- 5+ years’ experience in a QS role or engineering role with good commercial exposure
- A wide understanding of subcontracts
- Good with Figures
- Able to negotiate with clients and subcontractors on a professional level
- Experience in use of Excel a requirement (SAP experience an advantage)
- Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must have fluency in written and spoken English

**Hauptaufgaben der Rolle**:
Unterstützung des Bauteams bei allen Mengenermittlungsfunktionen, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf die folgenden:

- Stellen Sie die Einhaltung vertraglicher Verpflichtungen sicher und beraten und überwachen Sie diese für das Bauteam
- Fähigkeit, potenzielle kommerzielle Risiken zu erkennen und eine umgehende Meldung an die Geschäftsleitung sicherzustellen.
- Erstellen Sie monatliche Fortschrittsanträge und stellen Sie sicher, dass sie genaue Nachmessungen, Standortabweichungen, Tagesarbeiten oder Ansprüche enthalten
- Beschaffung - operative Beschaffungstätigkeit und Vertragsunterstützung in Zusammenarbeit mit der Beschaffungsabteilung
- Verwalten Sie die Konten von Subunternehmern von der ersten
