**Job Description Summary**: The position will be responsible for driving the supply chain function of IPD business towards fact-based decisions, short-term and long-term predictability in supply while supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements.

**I. Key Responsibilities**
- ** WWIPD Global demand consolidation process**:

- Take responsibility for the global demand consolidation, lead monthly demand discussions to understand the forecasts, challenge assumptions, and identify the key drivers behind the results. Provide demand inputs to Integrated Business Planning Process.
- Long Term Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting) - Manage the process of creating and maintaining databases to support budgeting and forecasting of manufacturing plants to ensure changes in long term production forecast are understood well and mitigated to avoid financial, inventory and supply impact.
- ** Coordinate WWIPD cross-functional activities**:

- Utilizing data available from various sources to create actionable information around metrics (backorders, line fill, forecast accuracy, inventory), IBP, network design, scenario planning, etc. to support the Supply Chain team in decision-making.
- On-the need supply planning activities of IPD supply chain team (Swissco and non-Swissco supply planning) in case of punctual support needed.
- Coordinate internal/external communication on topics that impact WWIPD activities on the need basis
- **_ WWIPD Process Improvement:_**
- Enhance existing SAP Utilization - This position will support the team on moving towards SAP based planning and ensuring system health (master data alignment, discontinuation of rationalized SKUs etc.)
- Actively supporting the team in development of new tools/files which can support and improve the planning process
- Process Mapping and Improvement - Map end to end processes through Value stream mapping and identify process improvement opportunities and then drive those improvements.
- Supply planning process optimization - work on identifying and standardizing good practices around the supply planning activities, developing standardized planning and backup processes across the supply planning team.
- Change to win CTW - Support identifying and driving CTW opportunities, ie: cost saving, lead time reduction, network optimization
- **_ Support WWIPD Strategic Initiatives:_**
- Facilitate and ensure the smooth execution of processes & procedures falling into IBP and S&OE scope.
- Support to drive and implement FLOW initiatives for WWIPD business, acting as a key executor of the strategies put in place. Contribute to various projects related to the product lifecycle and work closely with the team to ensure optimal execution.
- Supply Chain Segmentation - Support the WWIPD portfolio segmentation initiative, drive and monitor the planning adjustments required for each segment. Track and report the segmentation metrics (BO, OTIF, PPA, Materials and FG DIO ). Use the segmentation as an input for recommendations to other strategic initiatives (IBP, FLOW,).

**III. Education**
- University degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business or related field.

**IV. Experience**
- First experience in a complex, large-scale Supply Chain organization is desirable but will not be a constraint for high potential applicants
