The Global Head of Behavioural Sciences will build a new enterprise capability to support the transformation of Novartis launch capabilities to better meet the demands of a modern complex healthcare environment while becoming the industry leader in customer experience and commercialization. This role will be the enterprise expert and champion for Behavioral Sciences, accountable for designing, building, implementing, and scaling a highly impactful Behavioral Sciences team and capability program.

Key responsibilities:

- Be the global leader of Behavioural Sciences capability development including building the unit; developing the programs, tools, training; embedding new capabilities into core business processes; and scaling across the enterprise.
- Identify & execute bold disruptive ideas to accelerate enterprise Behavioural Sciences ability to design and deliver extraordinary customer experiences at scale.
- Lead Behavioural Sciences cross-functionally across marketing, medical and launch matrix teams in shaping the capability worldwide.
- In a complex healthcare world, build Novartis to being the best in Behavioural Sciences, regardless of which industry we are modelling against.
- Listen, measure, and adapt based on strong feedback loops, objective evaluation, and close collaboration with many colleagues inside and outside the organization. Leverage expertise from other functions including digital, marketing, medical, sales, insights & analytics, access, finance, and others.

**Minimum requirements**

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Deep understanding of Behavioural Sciences, with an eagerness to effect change, a bias towards making urgent progress, and an openness to feedback that improves future performance
- Strong influencing skills at all levels of a multinational enterprise, and the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, and decisiveness in situations where input may not be consistent
- Track record of driving bold and disruptive change
- Proven track record of impactful cross-functional matrix leadership with ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams with or without direct supervisory authority
