Internship Sustaining Development Engineering

As a member of the Sustaining Development Engineering team, the intern will support to ensure Nobel Biocare’s product portfolio is compliant with the MDR (EU) 2017/745 requirements. This entails gap-analyzing the product technical documentation, ensuring all evidence to demonstrate product safety and performance is available, and upgrading the technical documentation to MDR standards. The intern will be working with key elements of the technical documentation such as engineering requirements and risk management files. This is a unique opportunity to familiarize with a broad portfolio of medical device products and the medical device design control requirements under the MDR (EU) 2017/745 legislation.

**Job Requirements**:
**Knowledge and Qualifications**:

- Technical background (BSc, MSc or equivalent) in relevant field: human and movement science, material, biomedical, mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge in relevant tools (3D-CAD NX & Teamcenter, SAP, MS Office)
- Fluent in English, German is an asset (spoken and written)
- Understanding of technical drawings

**Skills/technical know-how**:

- Understanding of impact of product changes on documentation, design, process, quality
- Ability to analyze technical problems and systematically develop detailed solution
- Organizational and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work effectively with other groups and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders/good communication skills

**Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in relevant field (human and movement science, material, biomedical, mechanical engineering or equivalent)
