We are currently looking for an independent and team-oriented personality for the position as

**Head of Accounting (M/F/d) 100%**

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager Scenic Tours Europe, the incumbent will head the Ac-counting function of the Swiss group (around 25 legal entities) with main responsibilities being the following:

- Personal and technical leadership of the accounting team
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closings under IFRS
- Accounts payable tour supplier & ICO (tour related River and Ocean)
- Intercompany invoicing, Cost controlling, margin analysis, accruals & closing performance
- Cash Management and Cash Forecasting
- Overhead accounting
- Complete local and international VAT declarations
- Complete Corporate Tax Returns
- Ensure effective internal controls and further develop the Internal Controlling System
- Audit lead and prepare statutory financial statements under Swiss GAAP
- Back-up Finance Manager
- Ad-hoc inquiries and projects

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an accounting leadership position, including decision-making and leadership authority, within a large and fast paced environment
- A completed degree in accounting (Swiss federal diploma)
- Experienced working in a similar role preferably in a multicultural environment
- Used to work in global teams
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in Netsuite (Oracle) or SAGE300 is a plus
- Fluent in German and English (other languages are a plus)
- Willing to take ownership, hands-on, persistent, meet deadlines, team-oriented personal-ity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
