**Profile Description**

Automated production of electronic devices is your passion. Interfacing with teams at EMS providers around the globe, in different time zones and cultures is a fascinating environment for you. Your goal is to ensure a seamless introduction of new products into production by designing a production concept and strategy for our global needs. You lead the workflow design from the vendor's point of view and ensure an implementation roadmap is in place and agreed with the EMS. By analyzing the product concept and suppliers' capabilities you create risk analyses and provide QA systems ensuring the highest quality. Post product launch you focus on delivering to the forecasted demands and continuously improve production and quality processes to increase margins. Because of you, the local teams have a detailed understanding of the task and deliver Nexxiots innovative products to our high standards of expectations. You are fluent in English, you demonstrate great communications skills, and you feel comfortable working remotely, collaborating with your team members via chat channels, audio and video calls.

**Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for the serial production of IoT devices manufactured at Electronic Manufacturing Service Providers (EMS) including box build
- This includes support during EMS selection, conception, realization and optimization of assembly and testing processes as well as the coordination of engineering change requests (ECR) during prototype phase, ramp up and serial production
- Responsibility for production cost, quality, and output as agreed per product
- Leading Production launches with team Members from NPI, R&D, procurement, logistic, certification, quality, and the global production sites of our EMS partners
- Driving process improvements from order to delivery, based on Lean Management principles including the commercial evaluation of investments in this regard
- Leading internal and external team members at the international locations
- Leading the industrialization process of new product developments to ensure seamless integration of Products into the EMS down to the finished Product
- This position includes 30% travels and staying abroad temporarily for up to 3 weeks during production ramp up

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree in Engineering, Production technology, Industrial engineering or similar
- Core knowledge in Lean Production with proven practical experience, six sigma knowledge beneficial but not a must have
- Independent way of working, perseverance, and initiative
- Experience in working internationally and first project successfully realized abroad, preferably with EMS or in a similar setup
- Understanding production of electronical products including assembly, testing, and manual, semi and full-automated box build
- Experienced in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and Supplier Audits acc. to international standards
- Characterized by excellent teamwork and communication skills, assertiveness, and flexibility
- Strong communication skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
