**Who are we?**

**The team**:
At Smallpdf, we work in pods, which are autonomous and cross-functional teams within the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead our Content team while developing content and communications strategies in line with Smallpdf’s objectives
- Map out and evolve our content strategy that supports both Product and Marketing initiatives, both short and long-term
- Write, test, and optimize microcopy for various platforms and tools
- Create user-centered content (long-form and short-form) for product, marketing, and operational teams that considers market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, or usability findings
- Design scalable systems and structures to support large amounts of content in different languages
- Partner with UX designers and UX researchers to develop usable, accessible, and delightful digital products
- Advocate for, challenge, develop, and contribute to Smallpdf’s English content style guide.
- Mentor, support, and encourage the team to achieve key results and reach important milestones with a collective mindset that speaks to Smallpdf's values of Growth, Accountability, and Collaboration
- Liaise with external localizers and translators to ensure quality and consistency across 24 languages

**Your profile**:

- ~10 years of experience in content creation/writing, including 4-5 years of experience in UX writing
- Native-level English proficiency and excellent writing skills
- Management experience
- Passion for the writing process, a deep sense of empathy for the user/reader, and a refined ability to change tack quickly, depending on audience
- A penchant for teaching others and open to sharing ideas and new information that enables the whole team to enhance its craft
