Program Manager, Data Center Security and Compliance

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in program management.
- Experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, and risk management.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in large-scale program management, change management, communication strategy, and program manager generalist work.
- Knowledge of data center security and compliance, and data center environment and safety.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to speak and write in English and a second language (e.g., German, French, Polish, Italian) fluently.

**About the job**:
As a Program Manager, you will help develop a culture in which security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google. You will identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could impact business activities and provide business leaders with the information they need to make decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop industry-leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
- In this role, you will lead and drive audits and compliance as related to Google Data Centers (GDC). You will cover a region of infrastructure spaces and interact with teams in GDC to ensure the successful delivery, execution, and optimization of audits and the compliance program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with Data Center teams to ensure that the programs align to audit/compliance expectations and help prepare for future audits.
- Coordinate, manage, and execute on-site audits from various sources (e.g., customer, insurance) with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and collaborate with the team and partners to help shape and drive the strategic development of the data center compliance program.
- Help enhance, transform, or create practices and processes, with the key goal of supporting compliance and auditability across the organization.
- Create and maintain program documentation and trainings.
