**About the job**:
To strengthen our team in Basel, we are looking for a **Business Manager (M/F/x)** to start asap.

Supported by your Manager, your tasks will be to:

- Improve your technical understanding and extend your market knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and clinical research activities in life science in Switzerland.
- Become an entrepreneur by developing your own business development unit.
- Build, develop and maintain strong partnerships with new clients.
- Build-up and manage your team of consultants.
- Be the ambassador of ALTOGEN’s team spirit.
- Drive your business P&L

**What we are looking for**:
Your profile stands out for the following soft and hard skills:

- **Soft skills**: Pro-active, Resilient, Curious, Eager to learn, Smiling, Empathic, Receptive, Creative, Fast learner, Common sense, Fun.
- **Hard skills**: Rigorous, Organized, Scientific knowledge is a plus.

Your background:

- Master’s degree in business and engineering is preferred.
- A first experience in the business/sales industry and/or in the Life science industry is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English (German is an asset).
- Excellent communication skills.
