Global Product Costing Controller

**What you’ll do**

This role covers a wide scope of DSM products manufactured globally: over 2’300 own produced materials, across 20+ manufacturing sites, in 6 SAP systems as well as non-SAP environment. As the controller you bring in a good understanding of manufacturing, procurement, internal supply chain network and business, to master DSM global product costing, create transparency and support business decision making.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Overseeing Global Costing for all DSM-s own produced materials, serving as the link between commercial and production teams
- Business partner with Commercial Teams to explain Unit Cost evolutions to support pricing decisions
- Ownership of the Global Product Cost Consolidation Tool (customized SAP solution)
- Continuous improvement of global product costing procedures and tools with a strong customer focus and lean mindset
- Focal point for DSM processes of monthly close and planning cycles
- Prepare quarterly forecasts on global unit cost by incorporating developments in procurement, manufacturing, and category management
- Lead the budget process on global unit cost in collaboration with 20+ production site controllers and FP&A
- Ad hoc support in various projects, business cases and M&A integrations
- Support Finance transition, participate in system rollouts and integration of newly acquired businesses
- Member of the Global DSM Finance team

**You bring**
- Degree in Finance and/or ACCA, CPA or any other financial certification
- Minimum 6 years professional experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing sites and/or product costing related
- Process oriented mindset, strong internal drive for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work precisely with large datasets and interlinked IT systems
- Ability to effectively operate in virtual teams across the region and worldwide
- Able to cope with strict deadlines and time schedules
- Strong interpersonal communications, can express her/his ideas with ease and flair
- Drive for results, pro-active attitude with “can-do” mentality
- High level of conceptual and analytical skills
- Excellent level of Microsoft Office knowledge, esp. Excel
- English language is a must, other language skills are a plus
- Experience with SAP and SAP rollout projects is an advantage
