**Location**: Geneva, Switzerland

**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead & develop the Discovery Chemistry & Automation team (team of 20 scientists & technicians)
Provide scientific and project leadership on R&D programs towards discovery of biodegradable & renewable ingredients for Fragrance creation
Implement innovative chemistry methodologies and high-through put experimentation

Develop strong relationships with internal customers in Perfumery and Taste & Beyond Divisions

Ensure cross-functional interactions with the global Scientific Innovation Community

Maintain facilities and equipment & propose investments towards increased digitalization & automation

**We value**:
Fluent in English, proficiency in French is a plus

PhD or equivalent in Chemistry with focused expertise in synthetic chemistry. Experience in digitalization, automation & robotics are a plus

5-10 years of industrial experience in the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Proven people & project management skills and ability to facilitate change

Passion for chemical innovation and automation

Data driven approach to project ideation, planning, prioritization, and execution
