Process Expert in the Ocular Device Unit 100% (M/F/d) - GMP
**Project**:
For our customer in the pharmaceutical industry in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a process expert in the Ocular Device Unit (M/F/d).
**Background**:
With its 1,400 employees, the Kaiseraugst Production Center (PTGA) ensures uninterrupted patient supply with high-quality medicines. PTGA represents the highest standards of pharmaceutical manufacturing, is Roche's largest and most innovative packaging center, and supplies more than 120 countries. This production area manufactures medicines that are administered intravitreally (into the eyeball). These consist of pre-filled syringes that are labeled, assembled into a Device Combination Product, and blistered.
**Main tasks and areas of responsibility**:
- Operating the systems for assembling and blister packaging syringes under clean room conditions (Zones C and D)
- Training of new colleagues
- Inspecting the manufactured blisters for potential defects
- Cleaning and maintaining machines, equipment and premises
- Carrying out in-process controls
- Carrying out conversion activities such as the conversion/changeover of individual machines and/or format changes
- GMP-compliant documentation using electronic systems
**Must Haves**:
- Completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical or chemical technologist or comparable training (pharmaceuticals/technology/mechanics)
- At least 2 years of experience in the production of sterile medicinal products
- Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment (work/documentation)
- Willingness to work in a fully continuous shift model (6/4 shift)
- Good eyesight. As part of the recruitment process, an eye test will be carried out, which is necessary for visual control
- Flexibility, team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility, precise working methods and reliability, even under time pressure
- Enjoyment of practical work
- Good technical understanding of production systems
- Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite.
