**This position reports to**:
Head of Integrated Reporting Tools

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will own overall architecture of the Integrated Reporting platforms which with in using SAP BW/4 Hanna, SAC & Non-SAP technologies and supports Finance organization of ABB for Management and external reporting. You will be responsible for defining reporting data strategy and architecture along with wider Finance process data and systems and IS teams of ABB. You will report to the Head of Integrated Reporting and manage a 6 member team of Functional Architects: - Defines architectural and design patterns and guide on their adoption for analytics purpose. - Interprets data, analyzes results and provide guidance through the team to the design and delivery team. - Guides on the building of reports and dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. - Collates and prioritizes business and domain/functional use-cases to architect and design solutions to meet business needs. - Manages the delivery of user-friendly analytics insights by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery, through active feedback from customers and stakeholders. - Defines and keeps up to date technologies preference criteria for exposing the data to business users. - Guides on the building dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. Defining data Strategy and architecture along with the wider Finance Process data and systems team. - Leads the validation and prioritization of incoming business demand, in collaboration with the relevant demand manager. - Acts as the escalation point for solution, performance and architecture & design related issues. - Evaluates the ideas for efficiency improvement and value addition, decides based on their technological, financial, and functional feasibilities - Collaborates with ABB IS team to approve, develop, and maintain technology roadmaps architecture standards, reference architectures, and architecture building blocks in integrated reporting tools.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Master’s degree in computer science, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Functional architecture role on large SAP program.
- Good understanding of financial end to end process such as Record to Report, FP&A, Order to Cash etc.
- Knowledge of working with and using SAP/, BW/ BW/4Hana, SAC and SAP MDG is a must. Having exposure to non-SAP data analytics environment like Snowflake will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Experience with cloud services (SAP Rise, AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of scaling analytics projects in cloud environments.
