Job Description:
We are looking for a unique candidate who not only possesses extensive experience in video production (filming, editing, directing, and post-production), but also has a proven track record in international sales, particularly in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills tailored to American business culture, the ability to establish client relationships in North America, and the expertise to manage projects with a bilingual approach (American English and Swiss-German communication).
This position requires a professional with deep-rooted experience in American corporate environments, international sales strategy, and video production. The candidate will work directly with our production team to enhance our global client base, particularly expanding into the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle direct sales outreach, lead generation, and client negotiations primarily targeting the U.S. market. Manage international client relations and adapt sales strategies to American corporate expectations. Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to media companies, corporate clients, and production agencies in the U.S. Participate in all stages of video production (pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production) with the ability to integrate American storytelling techniques and cultural references into content. Adapt scripts, branding messages, and corporate communication for American audiences, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy. Conduct professional-level English copywriting for scripts, proposals, and marketing materials without any regional accents or linguistic inconsistencies. Serve as the primary liaison between Swiss and U.S. clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Oversee bilingual communication between Swiss and English-speaking teams.
Required Qualifications:
Native-level American English speaker with no regional accent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in video production (cinematography, editing, post-production, directing, etc.). Proven sales and business development experience specifically in the American media/production industry. Strong understanding of American business culture, corporate sales approaches, and client acquisition techniques. Experience working with American corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies, media agencies, or production firms. Ability to write compelling sales emails, proposals, and scripts in flawless American English. Familiarity with Swiss-German culture and business communication. Willingness to relocate to Switzerland and work full-time as an integrated part of our team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in both European and American media markets. Connections or networks in the U.S. media, film, or corporate industries. Experience conducting virtual and in-person sales pitches for American companies. Background in media marketing, brand development, or advertising strategy.
