In this newly created role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting sales data from various regions, including Europe, USA, Asia, and Japan. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the transparency and accuracy of the sales reporting. You will work closely with regional sales teams and other stakeholders to consolidate data and provide actionable insights.

As Sales Controller, you can analyze complex data sets and use data systems (ERP) to gain actionable insights that support strategic decision making around pricing and sales performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data from data systems (SAP, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel) to identify trends, pricing strategies, and margins.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the board, focusing on KPIs and sales analytics.
  • System Development: Further develop the ERP and reporting systems to create a unified and transparent reporting structure.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with peers in regional organizations and other stakeholders to gather and consolidate data.
  • Team Management: Supervise and guide a junior Sales Coordinator in data collection and consolidation.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in finance, sales analysis, or controlling.
  • Experience working in an intercultural environment.
  • Experience in project management.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders; capable of enforcing transparency and cooperation from regional organizations.
  • Pragmatic and Detail-Oriented: Focused on continuous improvement and optimizing processes and tools.
  • Independent and Self-Motivated: Highly independent and driven by the challenge of optimizing systems and processes.
