We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior FX Forward and Swap Trader to join our dynamic trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing foreign exchange forward and swap transactions, ensuring optimal performance, and maximizing profitability within the framework of the company’s risk management guidelines. This role requires a deep understanding of the FX market, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to make swift, informed decisions. The incumbent shall also build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimize service to clients

YOUR CHALLENGE

Execute FX forward and swap transactions on behalf of the firm, ensuring timely and accurate execution

Manage the FX trading book, optimizing positions to enhance profitability while adhering to risk limits, appropriate policies and procedures

Monitor market conditions to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities and provide updates for stakeholders

Experience with managing and providing prices through e-trading platforms

Shape and manage forward curves to reflect market conditions, flow and positions

Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining appropriate risk-adjusted returns

Stay updated on global economic events, geopolitical developments, and market trends that could impact FX markets

Build and maintain strong relationships with sales desk, colleagues within markets, counterparties, brokers and internal stakeholders

Client-centric approach for all deliverables

Able to work independently and in a global team setup to take on initiatives with a positive attitude

YOUR PROFILE

Relevant higher educational and professional background with 7-10 years of relevant working experience

Proven track record of successful trading and a deep understanding of the FX market

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends

Excellent decision-making abilities, with a proven ability to make quick, accurate judgments under pressure

Proficient in trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other relevant software and tools

Experience with managing and providing prices through e-trading platforms

Strong capability of pricing and shaping forward curves

Solid understanding of risk management principles and practices, with experience in managing trading positions

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with sales desk, colleagues within markets, counterparties, brokers and internal teams

Adaptability and resilience in a trading environment

Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, given the global nature of the FX market
