The resource will be included within the team operating in the structure and will be responsible for carrying out tasks relating to the management of the laboratory Care and maintenance expertise for laboratory rodents (mice and rats) in IVC systems. Ability to maintain IVC systems and changing stations, including changing pre-filters and setting up/decommissioning cage racks. Ability to independently clean and disinfect animal housing facilities and cage materials. Documentation of cage and animal data in dedicated database. Knowledge in assisting research groups with various tasks, such as weight collection, selection, marking, and euthanasia. Ability to support the veterinary service, including the administration of medication. Adherence to hygiene concepts and animal welfare legislation. Experience in animal deliveries and inter-building animal transfers. Compliance with hygiene regulations and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support for the RLT (radio ligand therapy) facility, working with radioactive compounds. Job Qualifications Good communication and team working skills Completed EFZ animal care apprenticeship or equivalent training; possession of LTK1 certificate required. Language: good command of German (preferred) or English is mandatory.
