In this senior leadership role, you will lead and develop a high-performing Transformation team while overseeing the delivery of strategic, global projects and large-scale change initiatives across the Compliance function. Collaborating closely with Compliance and Risk SMEs in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, you will play a pivotal role in driving business value by solving complex challenges through innovative and data-informed solutions.YOUR CHALLENGELead and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and agile ways of workingOversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic, global projects and large-scale change initiatives within the Compliance function, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory commitmentsGovern and manage the Compliance transformation portfolio, maintaining a structured pipeline of initiatives and prioritising efforts based on strategic impact, regulatory demand, and resource availabilityEnsure close alignment between project activities and overarching bank-wide transformation programmeChampion innovation and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and enhanced data utilisation across Compliance operationsLead strategic initiatives within the global Compliance function, with a focus on technology enablement, process optimisation, data analytics, and business intelligence to enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiencyInitiate and define new projects in response to business needs, regulatory requirements, or directives from Senior ManagementManage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, defining business requirements, solution testing, implementation, and measuring successLead cross-functional collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors to conduct in-depth analyses and identify best-in-class solutions, leveraging both emerging technologies and the Compliance Analytics & Transformation team’s proprietary in-house infrastructureOversee project governance frameworks, including the facilitation of project steering committees, regular progress reporting, risk escalation, and alignment with Senior Management and key stakeholdersOperate effectively within an agile project environment, applying iterative methodologies to deliver value incrementallyPerform ad hoc business analysis and reports, and provide cross-functional support to other projects and team members within Compliance Analytics & TransformationYOUR PROFILEUniversity degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, business administration, finance or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years’ experience in programme and project management within a global financial services environment, including at least 3–5 years in a people management role, leading multidisciplinary teams in complex, regulated settingsDemonstrated leadership experience in developing high-performing teams of Project Managers and Business Analysts, including coaching, performance management, career development, and workload allocationProfound Banking experience with focus on Compliance & Risk Management within a global financial services environmentComprehensive understanding of global compliance frameworks and regulatory expectations, and their operational implicationsProficient in Project Management and Collaboration tools such JIRA, Confluence etcExceptional analytical, conceptual, and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving in ambiguous environmentsOutstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated track record of influencing senior stakeholders, managing upward communicationExperience governing a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, including prioritisation, resource planning, risk escalation, and dependency management across interlinked projectsDemonstrated adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment characterised by evolving priorities and tight deadlinesA curious mindset with a track record of applying creative, out-of-the-box thinking to challenge existing processes and proactively develop innovative solutionsFluency in English (the primary business language); German is an advantageWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
