If you're passionate about process validation, equipment integration, and continuous improvement, wed love to hear from youTasksProcess and process flow design optimized for high yield and throughputDevelop fixtures, tooling, and equipment for prototypes and high-volume manufacturing of new products in collaboration with Mechanical EngineeringDesign and carry out feasibility studies of prototypes targeted for mass production in close collaboration with Product Engineering and OperationsResponsible for process validation, and release of the developed processes including capability studies, statistical process control, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of errorsSelect, install, modify, and maintain process equipment including IQ, OQ, PQProcess documentation, integration of process into production management environment, and training of co-workers on the new processesTravel up to 10% to transfer the developed processes to multiple production sitesCollaborate and contribute in multidisciplinary project teamsRequirementsMSc degree in microtechnology, chemistry, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent (Uni or FH)Experience in process development, preferably in high volume manufacturing environmentKnowledge in micro-assembly and semiconductor processing (MEMS), surface activation technologiesKnowledgeable of optical metrology methods (2D and 3D coordinate measurement systems, microscopes, spectrometer, etc.)Familiarity with FMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, SPC and other statistical modellingProficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioningOpen-minded for challenging ideas in dynamic environments with changing prioritiesQuick thinker, creative, persistent, and empathicProficiency in English, and German is an advantageBenefitsAnnual salary review and annual bonus (ESOP = Employee Stock Ownership Plan)Flexible working hoursHome officeRegular events: Ski day, Bike2Work, Friday beer, Optorocket, Float to work & moreGreat place to work activities (coffee/tea/fruits for free, various activities during the year) and OptogymVacation: 5 weeks vacation + additional compensation daysPension (SWISS LIFE): Attractive pension fund package with coverage beyond the statutory requirementsSick day insurance: up to 730 days of salary coverage in the event of sicknessParenthood: 16 weeks maternity leave, 3 weeks paternity leave + flexible return policyIf youre passionate about driving innovation in manufacturing and want to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, apply today.
