Vice President / Director in Business Development leads and supports processes enabling existing and prospective investors to consider and ultimately commit to StepStone funds or Solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities may include:
Lead acquisition efforts of Private Wealth with prospective investors in Switzerland across different segments of wealth management and financial institutions.Building and maintaining a qualitative Sales pipeline.Developing and communicating business development KPIsOversight of the firm’s CRM platform (Salesforce) for Private Wealth related informationManagement of dataroom (Intralinks) LP access for Private Wealth prospective investorsCoordinating formal and informal responses for investors requestsAssist with existing investor coverage and general business development effortsManagement of day-to-day workstreams of BD, support team membersOversight and coordination over LP onboarding document processing and trackingEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Min. of 5+ years of prior business development, investment, consulting experience with a specific focus on private markets and a proven network of contacts, partners and clients in wealth management and financial institutions in Switzerland.Knowledge of private market funds structures for wealth distribution.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing or CommunicationsCFA and/or CAIA a plusRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong commercial skillsStrong organizational skills with strong attention to detailStrong knowledge of Private MarketsAbility to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external partiesFamiliarity with CRM solutions, Salesforce preferredFluent in German (pref. Swiss German) & English, ideally another language such as Italian and French a plusA highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team.Other Attributes:
