For the Swiss market, with our business unit based centrally in Zurich, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to strengthen partnerships with our retail customers and grow the category by initiating and executing impactful initiatives.Where we need you: As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the business results of the key accounts in your portfolio. You will execute marketing and sales strategies while demonstrating strong customer-centricity, analytical capabilities, and negotiation skills.You proactively manage customer relationships and contribute to the continuous development of our market position and the visibility of our brands.Your core responsibilities at a glance: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute customer strategies aligned with Perfetti Van Melle’s business objectives to further expand our market position. Customer Planning: Create annual customer plans focused on distribution, innovation, visibility, and activation. Negotiations: Lead annual negotiations on terms and conditions independently. Partnership Development: Build and strengthen long-term relationships with retail partners to foster mutual growth and value creation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the internal go-to partner for customer-related topics across Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. Reporting & Forecasting: Own the business results of your customer portfolio, including accurate forecasting. Analysis: Conduct ongoing sales and portfolio analyses to develop impactful in-store execution plans. Growth Projects: Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and drive your portfolio with your own ideas. The ideal recipe for our new Key Account Manager: Education: University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of Key Account Management experience within FMCG. Market Acumen: Strong understanding of the Swiss retail landscape and customer dynamics. Sales Capabilities: Strong analytical and conceptual skills, negotiation expertise, hands-on mentality, courage to embrace change, and determination to implement. Communication Skills: Ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and build trusted relationships with retail partners. Proactivity: Ownership mindset paired with entrepreneurial spirit.
