Transformation Program Director

The Transformation Program Director – Shared Services & Sourcing is responsible for managing strategic programs which aim to transform the SCOR operating model. The current program combines the set up of new operations in several locations to drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and internalization of strategic capabilities. In this context, he/she acts as a program manager and engages with the Product Owners and Workstream Leads to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth implementation of the prgrams, including with external vendors when needed. In this role, he/she monitors the planning of the activities, identifies and monitors execution risks, supports the workstreams including in problem solving, and reports to the Steering Committee. Program Management & GovernanceEstablish robust program governance, including steering committees, KPIs, and reporting mechanismsEnsure day-to-day management of the program, including coordination and communication across workstreams, problem solving, risk management, etc.Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful deliveryMonitor the benefits realization of the program, and anticipate situations that can hinder the success of the implementationIdentify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and change impacts across the organizationPrepare the Steering Committees with Product Owners and Workstream LeadsStakeholder Engagement & Change ManagementEngage senior leaders in functions and regional teams to ensure alignment and buy-inCommunicate program progress, milestones, and report to the Steering CommitteeLead change management efforts (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter) with the relevant stakeholders to drive adoption and cultural integrationSupport the selection process of external vendors for the relevant workstreams or projects together with procurement teamsRequired experience & competencies10+ years of experience in transformation leadership, with a focus on shared services and sourcing, preferably in financial services industryProven track record of delivering large-scale operational transformation programsDeep understanding of global sourcing and shared service center operationsGood general re-insurance knowledge in P&C, L&H and FinanceStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to generate buy-in with senior stakeholdersStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsRequired Education Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.Certifications in project management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or change management are advantageous
