We are actively recruiting skilled research scientists or engineers with a robust engineering background to contribute to our endeavors. This Tokyo-based position operates in an English-speaking environment.Learn more about Sony AI here: Roles and Responsibilities:  As a Research Intern, you will conduct novel and advanced research with internal members. You are expected to be self-motivated and have the ability to conduct and implement innovative ideas with internal collaborations. Also, we expect the outcome will be published as academic papers.Required Qualifications and Skills:  Strong technical background in machine learning and deep learningExperience in developing novel models or algorithms, with a track record of publishing papers at major conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, etc.).Excellent analytical and programming skills for large-scale deep learningStrong communication and presentation skills Preferred QualificationsDiverse experience and knowledge in generative models, representation learning or general realm of deep learningHave some experience in multiple modalities of deep learning, such as computer vision, natural language processing or audioLocation: Remote from Europe or Tokyo-basedLife at Sony Research: Our work environment is diverse and motivated with an innovative open mindset.
