Research Scientist Intern

Sony AI is looking for interns with a passion for Deep Learning, Audio Signal Processing and Generative Modeling. You will join a group of international researchers, engineers and developers working on innovative solutions for tasks related to audio generation and understanding.

The technologies developed by our group are used in entertainment studios around the world and provide creators with impactful and ground-breaking solutions.

During your internship, you will be paired with a mentor and work with them closely on all aspects of research, from defining research problems to developing new ML solutions to presenting your findings at top publication venues.

This position is based in our Zurich office, for a period of 3 to 6 months.

You will:
You will bring:

- Being engaged in a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields during the whole stay of the internship.
- Excellent analytical and programming skills for large-scale deep learning.
- Expertise in deep learning for audio signal processing.
- Solid coding expertise with Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity about music & audio production.
- Research experience and knowledge in generative models.
- Record of relevant scientific publications.
