The SE will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to help close business by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with customers to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions that address complex technical needs.Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements, helping customers plan and successfully implement Trend Micro solutions.Provide expert guidance on Trend Micro products in a pre-sales context while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customers and prospects, working closely with internal Sales, Channel, and Partner teams.Design and support cloud and security architectures, offering innovative solutions to customer challenges.Partner with technology vendors and customers to drive strategic alliances and strengthen partnerships.Share best practices with the Sales Engineering team to enhance overall efficiency and technical expertise.Proactively manage technical relationships with customers and prospects while collaborating with internal Sales, Marketing and Partner teams as needed.Contribute to the SE Readiness Program and develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions.Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 30-35%) for customer presentations, marketing and user group events, and urgent on-site customer support. Qualifications:We are looking for a candidate with drive, enthusiasm, with a strong work ethic & a desire to learn and develop their career within cyber securityIf you are early in your career path, but have great experience within Cyber Security as an architect, developer, network or systems engineer, or similar, but interested in growing and developing a career in Sales Engineering, then we would love to hear from youWe are also taking applications from more experienced Sales Engineers or Security Specialists who have:3+ years SE experience and/or professional services experience3+ years’ experience in computer software or systems including security products (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, content security)Experience working with multi-cloud environments such AWS, Azure or GCP2+ years SOC or IR Experience an advantage Desired Experience & Qualifications:Experience in Pre-Sales with knowledge of value-based selling, consultative selling, and solution architecture.ITIL v3 or later certification (preferred).Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP (preferred, but not a must).Strong understanding of cloud architectures, with AWS certifications being a plus.Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.A fast learner with a proactive approach to new tools and technologies.Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse clients effectively. #LI-CM1At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world.
