Treasury Operations Officer

In this role, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities within the Treasury department, ensuring the effective management of liquidity, investments, and risks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute treasury transactions, including placements, investments, borrowing, and hedging, while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Manage the bank’s liquidity to support transactions and investment activities, adhering to liquidity and contingency funding guidelines
- Oversee market and interest rate risks to optimize risk-return performance within approved limits
- Ensure compliance with capital, regulatory, and risk diversification requirements, forecasting funding needs and proposing financing strategies
- Monitor FX exposures, profitability, and financial margins, recommending adjustments as needed
- Develop and implement strategies for treasury products and funding
- Prepare and present reports on market trends, liquidity, and balance sheet performance to senior management and committees
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of treasury activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Banking, or Finance; CFA or equivalent certification preferred
- A few years’ experience in treasury management and investment analysis
- Fluency in English and German; Spanish is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Finnova, Bloomberg, and strong analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of Swiss banking regulations and treasury compliance standards
