Location: This position will be in Zug – Switzerland The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager tojoin the global strategy team in our Buildings business unit. Inthis role, you will be responsible for the business-wide alignmenton the priorities of our portfolio development, achieving anefficient capital allocation, and monitoring of our portfolioperformance and related return on Investment Join us in shaping thefuture of our business in which we support our customers in theirtransformation towards smart and sustainable buildings Your newresponsibilities - Align portfolio development by domain(Automation, Fire Safety, Security) across our technology units(TUs) to ensure adherence to our strategy and effective spending -Monitor and coordinate cross-TU initiatives, e.g. total cost ofownership across products and services, software development onbehalf of other TU, vertical product development - Establish robustportfolio reporting and data-driven decision-making processes fordomain reviews and strategic portfolio management - Createtransparency on portfolio performance and related return onInvestment, with particular focus on R&D and SG&A spend,and derive optimization measures - Review investment proposals andcoach teams on scope, timelines, business plans andcustomer-centricity - Facilitate Capital Allocation during budgetphase and reprioritization during the year - Assess and mitigateportfolio related risks that could impact strategic objectives -Ensure involvement of go-to-market units (Marketing, Sales,Verticals) to effectively deliver portfolio roadmap to customers -Trigger and support M&A and divestment activities to shape theportfolio - Foster an environment that encourages collaboration andsupports innovative portfolio initiatives Your talents andexperience - Bachelor’s or Master's degree Business Administration/ Economics / Finance, Electrical / Mechanical / Industrialengineering or similar - Very good knowledge of the Building andInfrastructure technology industry - +10 years' work experience inproduct and portfolio management.
