Win GD is looking for a
Software Application Development Engineer (m/f/d)

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and optimize application software for commissioning tools, including coding, testing, and debugging system applications
Define product requirements and establish implementation timelines
Perform SW validation activities, based on design verification plan
Manage development projects to deliver the required quality within budget
Lead the field rollout of new software versions
Collaborate with external suppliers and provide technical guidance to support effective product development
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing technical support during discussions with Win GD engineers and customers
Work within Agile/Scrum development environments and collaborate effectively across multiple teams
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system designs, test plans, and release notes, in accordance with SDLC principles
RequirementsMSc or higher in Software Programming, Automation and Control, or a related discipline
In-depth knowledge of requirements elicitation and design specifications is essential
Extensive experience in requirements-based verification and validation is required
Strong application software development skills using C# and Visual Basic. C, C++ and. NET are an advantage
Solid understanding of front-end and back-end operations
Previous experience developing Microsoft-based applications is essential
Project management principles and practices is required
Experience with the V-model development lifecycle is an advantage
Sound knowledge of communication protocols, including CAN, Ethernet, and Modbus, is a plus
Experience with embedded Linux is an advantage
Very fluent in English
good German is of advantage
