Job DescriptionBanking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus, always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team. Your key tasks Execute the daily activity on payments transactions (order entry, validation and collateral activities) regarding domestic and international commercial payments in line with the standard market rules (swift/sepa/target/sic format, cut-off times, etc) Manage the investigation activity towards correspondent banks / ordering banks / beneficiary banks, in strict cooperation with Clients Analyse the pending cash open items assigned to Payments Team and take all the necessary steps to close the open positions with correspondent banks Cooperate / communicate with clients and counterparties efficiently Be involved proactively in the continuous improvement of processes and automation in order to guarantee the best service and client experience QualificationsAt least 2-3 years of experience in Back Office Payments or similar Capability to work autonomously in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment High flexibility and willingness to learn Good team player Excellent communication and organization skills Proficiency in English and German (B2) It would be a real bonus if you have Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking System Knowledge of Messaging systems: Finastra GMP or IGT+ and Bottomline GTex Additional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
