Functional Business Analyst – Core Banking Systems

Taleo’s success depends on the talent of its employees, therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic Functional Business Analyst – Core Banking Systems: Requirement Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to core banking systems and private banking services. Collaborate with stakeholders to define system enhancements and process improvements. Functional Specifications: Develop clear and detailed functional specifications for system changes, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards. Core Banking Systems Support: Work with IT and vendor teams to support, configure, and optimize core banking systems, ensuring that they meet the operational needs of the private banking business. Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans for new system features and enhancements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet quality standards. Project Coordination: Participate in project teams to support system upgrades, new implementations, and other technology initiatives within private banking. Track project progress and report on milestones. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and interpret data from core banking systems to provide insights into business operations and identify potential areas for improvement. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Required profile. How do we imagine our future Functional Business Analyst – Core Banking Systems? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst, preferably within private banking or financial services. Strong experience with core banking systems, with the ability to analyze, configure, and support system functionalities. Solid understanding of private banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with SQL is a must and other data analysis tools are a plus. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and in German.
