Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of a new Core Banking System (CBS) with the regulatory reporting landscape, with a focus on statistical, capital adequacy and liquidity reporting requirements for the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and related regulations.
  • Define and document business requirements, data flows and system interfaces for current and future-state regulatory reporting solutions across front-to-back processes.
  • Validate end-to-end processes and system outputs, ensuring they meet stringent regulatory demands for capital, liquidity and statistical reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors within a large transformation programme, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Contribute to testing, issue resolution and go-live support for regulatory reporting components impacted by the CBS transformation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting in private and/or investment banking, with hands-on involvement in Capital Adequacy (Basel II/III/IV) and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) / Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) reporting.
  • Strong understanding of securities, derivatives and/or banking products, and the ability to interpret how these impact risk

    weighted assets, funding classifications and collateral treatment.
  • Demonstrable experience in core banking migrations or replacements and work on system integration projects, ideally involving major core banking platforms.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse architectures used for regulatory reporting (e.g. platforms similar to OneSumX, AxiomSL, RegOne, or in

    house solutions); practical exposure to data modelling is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with resilience and determination to work in a high

    impact transformation environment and interface effectively with senior stakeholders.
